How We Grade Evidence

Every product we sell carries a grade: Strong, Moderate, Weak, or None. The grade rates the biological claim behind the product, not the product's build quality. We grade against our own commercial interest — you'll find a WEAK on one of our own listings.

The scale

  • STRONG — supported by randomized controlled trials or consistent clinical evidence (e.g., minoxidil for beard density; progressive resistance for muscle).
  • MODERATE — plausible mechanism plus partial or indirect evidence (e.g., cold-induced de-puffing; tongue-posture habit training).
  • WEAK — mechanism unlikely or effects temporary/cosmetic only, honestly labeled (e.g., nose shaper clips).
  • NONE — no credible evidence; often actively debunked (bonesmashing, bone remodeling from mewing, "growth" oils). We sell nothing whose core claim grades None — and when a product of ours contains a None-grade myth in its category, the page says so.

Why do this

Because this niche runs on overclaiming, and we think honesty is a better long-term business. Our guides cite the actual studies: read them free.

Grades describe evidence for typical cosmetic outcomes, not medical guarantees. Nothing here is medical advice.
